Southern Naturals Tooth Powder Peppermint - Large 4 oz jar
Southern Naturals Peppermint Tooth Powder is made with only high quality, effective ingredients. No artificial flavors or fluoride to be concerned about in this formula!
If you're new to tooth powder, you will find that it is different from tooth paste. It should only take a short time to become accustomed to the different "mouth feel" of tooth powder due to the fact that it does not foam up like toothpaste. You may feel like you need to use a lot of tooth powder to make up for the lack of foam, but the foaming action is not necessary to clean your teeth effectively. Only a very small amount of Southern Naturals Tooth Powder is needed to get your teeth clean--just a 1/16 teaspoon!
This tooth powder does not contain any fillers. Every ingredient helps to make your teeth and gums healthy, as well as to help freshen your breath. Just look at what's in it-
Xylitol- Research shows that xylitol helps to counter the acid forming properties of sugar by balancing pH levels. It helps to keep bacteria from sticking to teeth, which causes tooth decay and is safe for diabetics.
Stevia- This is a natural, plant based sweetener that doesn't have the many side effects that artificial sweeteners do. It helps to clean the teeth and gums and is safe for diabetics.
Himalayan Pink Salt- Not only does this natural sea salt help to clean the teeth, it is chock full of minerals that strengthen gums and helps to prevent gingivitis and bleeding.
Baking Soda- Helps to remove plaque, stains and freshens breath.
Peppermint Essential Oil- has antibacterial properties that kill bacteria and are good for teeth and gums. It also freshens breath.
Each 4 oz PET plastic jar with screw on lid contains enough tooth powder for over 300 brushings!
To use: Moisten toothbrush with water and dip the top fourth of it into the tooth powder. (Only a 1/16 teaspoon is needed) You may dip your toothbrush directly into the jar if you're not sharing with anyone, or pour a little of the tooth powder into the palm of your hand and then dip your brush in it that way. Brush as you normally would, then rinse your mouth with water. You may like to swish some water in your mouth before brushing if your mouth is dry.
